Ok i have to say my progress on my mappack will be delayed because.

I always wanted to create a total conversion. so me & 2 others will be working on it the question was wat engine will we use. We deceided to go for the hl2 engine as it would work the best on what we are trying to make. i can`t say mutch about what we are going to make & it will take a long time. before we even can show something we made. well thats just something i wanted to say.

o yeah my progress on doom mappack continues its just alot slower now. Any free time i get i will work on them.still atleast u got the beta pack to play With. if u want to run them on your server plz check them before you upload them coz some maps are very unplayable in there current state.

i dit alot of changes on the map01 Improvments

  • Added alot more spawns for high player server
  • Deleted some path nodes
  • Made some changes to the trades added posters>etc + switch to open ceiling
  • Changed the light in the big area abit in my map pack the lightning was kinda wrong & result was one black wall. now its ok
  • Fixed the static mesh getting full bright. zone info caused it replaced it with normal light.
  • No more camping on top big lift zombies can jump up there.
  • zombies will jump trough window instead of getting stuck at the secret door.

Still need to fix

  • Skybox is kinda low quality right now was testing a new skybox but ended op really low quality

Also im not trying to replace doom2-final map. i still think doom2-final map is very functinal this map has just some addons like sounds. custom meshes+more spawns thats all.

well ye map 01 is like 100% finished im making some models to fill up the trader i made a doom2 cd on a nail. to hang inside the trader well here is a picture of it:). i might make more cd with different logos on there.

bit overbright but its cause of the lights i have in that map. it contains all my meshes in that map so also all the candles!

i havent been mapping at all since i putt so mutch time in it before just wanted to relax a bit lay off the mapping progress. but i be working on map01 now trying to fix everything i will try make better skybox make better jumppad. & make zombies spawn outside since they only spawn wen u are in 265blocks away from them so ye i dint pay mutch attention to that untill now. i also will make the switch no collide with player so that u wont get bounced up or receive damage wen pressing it.! also i might add something to make the trader a bit more intresting:)

i havent worked on the maps yet. i joined a random server with 40players on map 8 it was quite fun:)

anyway i be moving map for map improving them. also i will add a better skybox this one is kinda wierd.

anyway i changed my server to 12slots but. problem is that it doesnt stay 12slots i need to manual add 12slots so wen im not home it be 6slots with perks ofcourse. i wanted to get the versus mod on my server but the install dint go to well & wasted like 5days on it. well thats all what happend!

putting the server into public so that more people can test it.

more fun to play with more people anyways so ye bring your friends & have fun:)

i have been working all day on my maps to make them playable:D

i uploaded the music pack to different sites, so you can pick what is the best for you its around 50mb so not that mutch.

please dont spread the maps to different servers. this is test version, still missing static meshes im not sure if zombies can get to all locations.i just had a run into the server the problem i already saw is the keycard dont seem to remeber the static mesh wen they are compressed wierd bug but not the biggest problem. have fun:)

i have been pushing myself to get it to perfect state but then the test team would be getting pritty useless isnt it:D so im rapping it only to fix zombie pathing +models so ye it be finished around sunday so all testers can have a 3 day play on the maps. i will update later on about the music pack that my maps use so u can download them from here.maps arent perfect yet but thats what we got tester for dont we:)

also about my server for the people who play on it. would you like to see versus on there or would you rather have it the way its now.

well i was trying to fix so many issues on the map it use like lifts & stuff its very hard to fix that stuff zo zombies can move around. best way for it is to make teleports for zombies. also the keydoors i dont want to remove the keycards with the doors coz it will give a better feeling im trying to add more zombies spawn so i can putt the maps on testing server soon. stay tuned. all maps will be downloaded from the server. i will probley give u only the link to the music with you most place into your killingfloor folder music. the music is around 60mb. it got 3 different trader songs + remix version of doom songs. so stay tuned:)
